Oh, absolutely. It’s the greatness of the strain of thought.
But what is seen again and again is that it is not that throughout history these thoughts do not succeed in having impact. It is that the impact is eroded over time by the constant search by those inclined to parasitism for angles and weaknesses.
The need is a constant refreshing and renewal.
Yes, but that’s what Georgism is all about: removing privilege, the PRIVate LEGIslation of giving rent to the 0.1%.
Nuclear power. Flowhold title or Land Tax.
Be a pretty good start for a better future.
But as has been said down the centuries, its not about setting up a perfect system. It’s about having enough people watchful enough to keep any system clear of parasites.
