Q&A

Last night’s Q&A was especially interesting when it touched upon a range of issues confronting Australia’s First Nations peoples.

Interesting but not compelling, because the program skirted about the main issue once again: land is fundamental to First Nations peoples in a way that is quite different from most Australians.

It is a spiritual attachment.

The same can’t be said for most of us, including the vast majority of federal politicians who’ve set aspirations for their future on their ‘property investments’.

It’s chalk and cheese.

That’s why there seems little hope of securing equality, freedom and prosperity for First Nations peoples as per my cri de coeur:-
