It’s pretty lonely understanding how escalating land prices come at great cost to Australia’s socioeconomic wellbeing.

As most folks prefer to engage with the lighter side of life, I occasionally have to endure the “Oh, I can’t stand negative people!” jibe.

I’m pretty content and happy, though, and I certainly enjoy my distractions, such as the great game by the Cats last night. Patrick Dangerfield’s incredible leadership in the win against the Hawks got us into another Grand Final! And Tom Atkins just continues to motor through the thick of things with similar endeavour to ‘Danger’.

Go, Catters! Although it’d similarly be nice to have a 100,000 people seeing the inverse relationship between property spec and a prosperous Australian economy.

I nevertheless remain a happy ‘doomster’.
