  1. Kate lost me at “infinite demand.” Since there is not a single historical precedent to support this stance, this land bubble will deflate one way or another.

    Yes, even the seemingly inexhaustible line of Chinese princelings will one day dry up (hat tip moronic MSM), and the onset of deflation will be something like a sick whoopee cushion as the speculator orgy comes to an unpleasant end.

    Let the political fools pump up land to x4, x 5, x10 GDP so the masses can feel a severe burn that will scar entire generations. Then perhaps we’ll abandon the property cult and actually do something productive with our lives and social conversational spheres.
